Could not resist

I was looking at my folder of pictures and found this one. It's from the second summer that Brett came to work at camp. We... uh... borrowed some of the OA's regalia and... lightsabers..?

Hail to the chief!

Sorry it took so long, but here it is:

Well, following in the footsteps of my siblings I have created an account on blogger to share things with everyone. No, I'm not having a baby *tear*. This is being set up so that when I get my package from South Africa (in about 10 days) I can finally begin putting up pictures and posting the story of my adventure on the far side of the world.

I've been waiting for so long because Brett, the scout that invited me to SA, has been compiling a cd/dvd of all of the pictures taken while I was there and has sent it out just a few days ago. In the mean time I'll post some teasers for everyone's enjoyment.

Oh, and by the way, the title of the blog comes from a cd Brett's family gave me for Christmas. It's the title of the greatest hits album of Johnny Clegg & Savuka. They're a SA band and they're pretty decent. Not really what I listen to all the time but I'll pop it in from time to time.

Anywho, on to the pictures...

A view from the Cederberg mountains I spent 2 weeks in.
(Did I just end a sentence with a preposition? ah well...)

Another gorgeous view.

Well, ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard South African Airways flight 238. My name is James and I'll be your pilot for this voyage. Just sit back and relax and we'll be in Africa in no time. Please take note of the locations of the lavatories and exits at this time. We will be taking off shortly.
